Chapter 1: The experience of hell

Something tore me from my body with such force that I felt my brain shake. It was pulling me downward through my bed, through the floor, toward a dark pit. All I could see was earth, rocks, and darkness. And then I saw a light. I thought it was an exit, but no, it was the fire of hell, and I was heading straight for it. I screamed with all my might, but in that place, your mouth cannot speak. Today we are going to read the account of a woman named Marcia, a story based on true events.

Marcia considered herself a Christian. She went to church, prayed, and was a pastor's daughter. Yet, a demon tore her from her body and dragged her straight to hell. How is it possible for someone who has known God since childhood to end up in such a place? What was she carrying in her heart that opened the door to what happened that night? And most powerfully of all, what was the one thing Jesus said to save her?

Because according to Marcia, Jesus revealed two specific sins to her. Two, not 10, not 20, but two things she was doing that millions of Christians also do every day without realizing the danger. And one of those two things is something almost all of us justify, something we clink to as if it were our right. If this story moves you, if something you hear today touches your heart, please leave a comment with the word Jesus just that Jesus. That way this message can reach those who need to hear it.

Now, let's dive right into what Marcia experienced. And I warn you, this is no ordinary story. I am a pastor's

Chapter 2: A childhood of trauma

daughter. My father has been preaching since 1984. People would see him take the pulpit on Sundays and call him a man of God. They respected and admired him. But at home, the reality was different. Very different. The trauma began when I was 8 years old. 8 years old. I was just a child. And I wouldn't wish what we 2 minuteswent through in that house on anyone. I won't go into every detail because some things hurt just to remember.

But I can tell you this, it didn't stop. It wasn't a one-time thing. It was constant year after year after year. And it didn't stop until I left that house after finishing high school. There were five of us siblings, two boys and three girls. The four oldest bore the brunt of it. My youngest brother was spared. I don't know why he didn't go through the same thing. And my other brother, he passed away in 2022.

He's no longer with us. I remember that when my dad became a pastor, something inside me filled with hope. I thought things would finally change. that if God was calling him to preach, then something good would happen for our family. I thought there would be no more shouting, no more pain, and that we would become the family the church believed us to be, but nothing changed. Absolutely nothing. The pull pit was one thing, and the house was another.

So, I endured it. I endured it until I could leave. The day I finished high school, I left just like that. I left without a plan, without money, without anything. I ended up living in my car. I slept there and debt whatever I could. I had nowhere else to go. The girls I thought were my friends deceived me and used me. They promised help but left me worse off than before. I was completely alone in the world.

An 18-year-old girl living in a car because her own home was worse than the streets. And all that time, do you know what I never did? I never let go of that pain. I never forgave. Not my dad and not my mom who knew what was happening yet did nothing to stop it. All five of us suffered and she knew it. But I carried that pain inside me. I held on to it tightly as if that resentment were a part of me as if I had the right to carry that bitterness because they had earned it with what they did to me.

But what I didn't understand at the time is that resentment doesn't punish the person who hurt you. Resentment punishes you. It gets inside you and slowly rots away without you even realizing it. And you think you're okay. You think you're over it, but you're not. It's still there, waiting for the moment to come out. And when it does, it comes out with full force. I carried that wound for years. I covered it up with relationships.

I covered it up with work. I covered it up with excuses, but I never took it where it needed to go. I never put it in God's hands. and that that was the beginning of everything that happened to me afterward. I got married young and if I'm honest with myself, I got married

Chapter 3: Patterns of disobedience

looking for the love my father never gave me. It's that simple. I wanted someone to hug me and tell me I was valuable, someone to choose me because I never felt chosen at home. And then this man appeared and I thought he was the answer. I thought he was going to fill that void I'd been carrying since I was 8 years old. I married the wrong man. He was unfaithful. He was violent. And when that marriage ended, do you know what I did?

I remarried another man. Different face, different name, but the same spirit, the same pattern, infidelity, violence, the same pain disguised as another person. God delivered me from both marriages. Both times he spoke to me. He said, "Of course, follow me. Don't look in a man for what only I can give you." And I heard those words. [clears throat] I heard them very clearly, but I didn't listen. I always knew God existed.

I always sought him. But when it came to obeying, I did what I wanted. And look, there are people who don't believe in divorce. I understand. But when there's abuse and infidelity, God gives you a way out. It's written. He doesn't want you to stay where you're being destroyed. But what he does want is for you to follow him after you leave. And I didn't. I left those marriages. Yes. But instead of running to God, I ran to other men, I started dating one and then another, committing fornication.

And I'm going to tell you something that many people don't believe when I say it. There were times, there were times that right before the act, right at that moment, I heard a voice, a strong, clear man's voice, music that told me, "No, not just like that. No, the man I was with didn't hear it, but I did. I knew it was the Lord. I knew he was warning me and yet I did it anyway. I stayed there. I disobeyed, fully aware of what I was doing.

A long time later, God revealed something to me that shook me to my core. He told me, "You were dating men who had the same spirit as your father. And when he told me that everything made sense, my father was cheating on my mother with women from the church, with women from the street, and I, without realizing it, was attracting the same kind of man, the 7 minutessame spirit, because in the spiritual world, these things are visible. Demons see what you carry. If you carry lust, they seek you out.

If you carry bitterness, they find you. Those spirits in the men I chose saw what was in me and were drawn to me like a magnet. And God warned me not once, not twice, but many times. He gave me opportunity after opportunity, grace after grace. And there I was still thinking nothing was wrong. I told myself, "God protects me. God takes care of me. Nothing bad is going to happen to me." And I continued living the same way.

fornicating, carrying resentment, going to church on Sundays, and living however I please during the week. But what I didn't understand, and this is something I need you to listen to carefully, is that the grace has a limit. God is patient. He is loving. He gives you chance after chance. But there comes a point where he has already told you everything he needed to say if you keep ignoring him. Grace runs out and mine was running out.

I just didn't know it yet. At the time, I was dating a guy. I won't say his name because it doesn't matter. What matters

Chapter 4: The night of the encounter

is what happened that night. We had a date. I was waiting for him, but he never called me back. Nothing. Just silence. There I was in my room waiting like a fool while he didn't answer until he finally called me around 10:30 at night. 10:30. And when I saw his name on the screen, I was already at my breaking point. I answered and we started arguing. I let him have it. He let me have it and then I hung up on him just like that.

I hung up with all the rage I was carrying inside. But what I felt after hanging up that wasn't normal. I know my own anger. I know what it feels like when I get angry. This was something else. It was something deep, something bitter. I felt a fire inside burning in my chest. It wasn't just rage at that man. It was the rage of my entire life rolled into one. Rage against my dad, against my ex-husbands, against the friends who betrayed me, [clears throat] against everyone who had ever hurt me.

It all converged in a single moment and turned into something I had never felt before. It was pure bitterness. The Bible says in Ephesians, "Do not let the sun go down on your anger. That night, I was that scripture come to life. I was exactly what God warns us not to be. And I didn't know it. I had no idea what was about to happen. After I hung up the phone, not even a minute later, not even a minute, I felt a shift in my room.

Something entered. I didn't see it with my eyes, but I felt it with my whole body, and I heard it. Something moved toward where I was, and it was bad. I knew it instantly. It was something evil. It wasn't a household noise. It wasn't the wind. It wasn't my imagination. It was a presence. And I whispered, "My God, something is here and it's bad. Protect me, Lord." Since I was little, I'd always been sensitive to those things.

I used to see shadows, sense presences, and know when something spiritual was nearby. But this, this was different from anything else. It felt heavy, dark, as if the air in my room had turned thick. Just then, my daughter, my 12year-old, walked in. She liked sleeping with me sometimes. She came into the room and asked, "Mommy, can I lie down with you?" I didn't tell her anything about what I was feeling.

I didn't want to scare her. I said, "Yes, my love, come get in bed with mommy." So, she lay down with me. I had the TV on. That's how I often slept. Then, I coughed. Just a normal cough. And that thing, that thing in my room coughed right back exactly the same way, as if imitating me. But it wasn't human. It was a spirit. And my daughter heard it. She sat up, frightened, and asked, "Mommy, what is that?

What was that?" Because it was just the two of us, her and me. I did have a cat, but a cat doesn't cough like that. It sounded human, yet it wasn't human. My daughter clung to me as tightly as she could. I told her, "It's okay, my love. It won't hurt you. I'm going to pray and you're going to sleep." So, I prayed for her and she fell asleep. She snuggled right up close to me and drifted off. But I couldn't sleep.

I knew what was coming. Something inside me knew. There is something about death. Often, you just know when it's about to happen, and I knew that thing was there to take me. I felt it with a certainty I can't explain. I lay there in bed and wept. I said, "Lord, forgive me for getting so angry at that man. Forgive me for all my sins. Whatever is in this room is evil and I am afraid. Please protect me."

That was my final prayer. The last words I spoke to God before everything changed forever. I fell asleep, then jerked awake. My eyes snapped open just like that. The way you do when you feel like you're falling in a dream, I lay still. The room was just as it had been. the TV on, my daughter asleep, and that thing still there. I knew it. I fell asleep again, only to wake up with a start, as if something wouldn't let me rest.

As if my own body knew I shouldn't let my guard down. The third time, I drifted off, maybe for 10 seconds, maybe less. I opened my eyes to find it right in front of me, face to face. The spirit was hovering over me, and it was horrific. It was the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. I have no words to describe what I saw. I only know it was real and that it had me in its grip. Music. I felt it rip me from my body, from the top of my head down to my toes.

Chapter 5: Supernatural rescue

In one violent yank, with a force not of this world, it shook me so hard my brain hurt. Literally music, I felt my brain shift inside my skull, and I began to fall. It dragged me through the bed, through the floor, through everything, pulling me downward. I couldn't move my arms. I couldn't move my neck. I couldn't move a thing. The only things I could move were my eyes. I was being pulled feet first, wrapped in something as if bound by an invisible force squeezing my entire body, and the speed was tremendous.

I was moving incredibly fast. All around me, I saw only darkness. Earth, rocks, stones, music, and more darkness. Then suddenly, it changed. I wasn't falling anymore. I was floating. I saw myself from above, hovering over my bed. I saw my body lying down there. I saw my daughter asleep beside it. And I thought it was a dream. I asked myself, "Why am I watching myself sleep?" I looked around my room from up there.

Everything looked the same. Yet I was up high and my body was down below. And then I realized it, though I didn't want to accept it. I was dead. I was looking at my own lifeless body and at my daughter sleeping beside a corpse without even knowing it. And once again, back to the pit, falling into that darkness at full speed. But this time, I began to see a light, a white light down below. For a moment, I thought it was something good.

I thought, "It's a window. I'm about to get out of here. I'm about to see the way out. But something told me, something told me clearly, "No, you aren't going up. You're going down." And what you see isn't an exit. That's fire. You're going to hell. It was the tops of the flames. That white light was the fire of hell seen from above. And I was heading straight for it. I screamed with everything I had.

With all my soul, I said, "Lord, I don't want to go to hell. But in that place, your mouth doesn't work. No sound comes out. You can't speak. Everything comes from your mind. You scream on the inside, but on the outside, there is nothing. And then Jesus appeared. I didn't see him face to face. He was behind me, to my right, above me. And he said only one thing, just one. He told me, "Just call out my name.

That was it." He didn't give me a sermon. He didn't scold me. He didn't explain anything. He just told me to call out his name. And I said, "Jesus." Just like that, one word, one name. And in that very instant, I was back in my body. I fell to my knees beside my bed and began to weep and pray like I had never prayed in my life. I stayed on my knees beside my bed. I don't know for how long, hours, weeping, trembling, praying like I had never prayed in my life because I knew where I had just been rescued from.

I had been there. I saw the flames music. I felt the speed of that fall and only one name brought me back. And there on my knees, the Lord began to show me everything as if he

Chapter 6: The path to forgiveness

were holding a mirror up to me. He said, "You went to hell for two reasons. The first was unforgiveness. The second, sexual immorality. Two things. Two. He didn't tell me it was because of drugs. He didn't tell me it was because of stealing. He didn't tell me it was because of killing someone. He told me it was because of not forgiving and because of sexual immorality. Two sins that millions of people who call themselves Christians carry every day without realizing the weight they bear.

He told me that it doesn't matter what was done to you. Whether your ex was unfaithful, your boss humiliated you, or your father destroyed your childhood, it doesn't matter. You have to forgive because Jesus died on a cross. They beat him, spat on him, and nailed him there. And from that cross, he said, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. If he forgave like that, I have no excuse, and neither do you."

He told me I didn't have to go seek out the person who hurt me if it was dangerous. Nor did I have to hug them or pretend nothing happened. But I did have to go to him and ask him to help me let go of it. That he gives me the strength to forgive. But I have to be willing. And the hardest part came next. The Lord told me I had to call my ex-husband. That I had to take the first step. I said, "Why me, Lord?

He was the one who hurt me. He was the one who was unfaithful. He was the violent one and I have to call him. And God said to me, you called him. Just like that, direct without explanation. Just you called him. So I called him. My pride shattered and told him I forgave him that I forgave him for everything he had done to me. And do you know what happened? That man immediately asked for my forgiveness.

He told me he was sorry, too, that he knew he had been in the wrong. Both ex-husbands did the same thing. And God told me something that left me stunned. He said, "Those men were never your husbands. They were someone else's husbands, and both of them remarried. God does not lie." Then came the hardest part, forgiving my dad. That was the toughest thing I have ever done in my life. I had to get on my knees and ask God for the strength because I couldn't do it on my own.

And when I called him and told him I forgave him, my dad wept. He said to me, "Forgive me, daughter. I think I was possessed by the things I did to you all." And for the first time in my life, we spoke as father and daughter. Truly, without resentment, without pain, just two people talking. But the battle didn't end there. After that night, I

Chapter 7: Spiritual transformation

began to smell sulfur in my house. For weeks, it smelled like hell. I heard footsteps in the hallway and in the kitchen. At night, I heard things entering my room. Once I heard what sounded like a multitude speaking in tongues behind a door. They were demons and they didn't want to leave because they knew I had changed. That I was living for Christ and that infuriated them. I had to fast for nearly 40 days going without food from 6 a m to 6 p.

Some days I ate nothing at all, praying and battling until they finally left. Today I no longer look for love in any man. Jesus told me, "I am your love. I am the only one you need. And something in me changed completely. Men don't look at me the way they used to. That spirit of lust that followed me everywhere is gone because what I carry inside me now is different. Now I carry Christ. The demons know it and they stay away."

The events of Marcia's story. We are confronted with something we cannot ignore. She was a Christian. She had known God since childhood and prayed. Yet she nearly ended up in hell. It wasn't because of what people would consider grave sins, but because of something many of us carry right now without giving it a second thought. In Matthew 6:14:15, Christ stated it plainly. If you forgive others their offenses, your heavenly father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others, the father will not forgive your offenses either. It is not a suggestion or a piece of advice. It is a condition. and Marcia experienced this firsthand. The question isn't whether this story is real or not. The question is, what are you carrying in your heart right now that you haven't let go of? Because according to what Christ himself told us, it could cost you everything.

What Maria experienced that night isn't a tale meant to scare anyone. It is a reminder of something Christ recorded, something many people prefer not to read. Mark 11:25 says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." And 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns us, "Flee from sexual immorality." These aren't my words.

They are God's words. And Marsha discovered that they are not optional. The facts are clear. A woman who knew God, prayed, and called herself a Christian nearly ended up in hell because of two things most of us have justified at some point. The resentment we carry as if it were our right, and the sins of the body we hide, thinking no one sees us, but God sees, and so do the demons.
