They are consulting figures, symbols, and entities when the only one with authority over your home, your marriage, and your body is Jesus Christ. Deuteronomy 18:1 and 11 state unequivocally, "Let no one be found among you who practices divination, or is a soothsayer, a sorcerer, or a spellcaster. It is not a suggestion. It is a commandment."
